Memorials can be personalised in many different ways. Granite is durable, but because of its density can  prove expensive to carve. However, a polished surface brings out the tremendous natural colour and when carefully removed leaves an outstanding contrast. A sandblaster in a craftsman's hands can produce the most artistic of results.
